There seems to be a case of 'Do as I say, not as I do' in the Kardashian household.
Family matriarch Kris Jenner has spoken of her disapproval of daughter Kim taking on her fiancé Kris Humphries' surname when they marry.
Mrs Jenner says she does not want Kim to give up the name that has become a globally recognised brand - despite the fact that she also dropped Kardashian when she remarried.
'I don't think she should take his name and be Kim Humphries,' Kris, 55, told PopEater.com.
'I think she needs to be Kim Kardashian because she's worked so hard to get where she is.'
But Kim, 30, plans to go against her mother's wishes, according to TMZ, which reports that the reality star will 'for sure' take the basketballer's surname after she walks down the aisle this summer.
